Pizza Box

On June 14, 2010, in guerrilla job hunting, by David Perry aka The Rogue Recruiter

Tape your resume to the underside cover of a pizza box [in
a thick envelope] and have a fresh pizza delivered to the hiring manager minus
one piece.  The accompanying note should
read: “The only piece
missing is me… “

This works well for tech firms and ad agencies.

Make sure you call ahead to ensure the person is in
that day.

Ask Reception if the person has any food allergies.

Deliver it yourself just in case you can meet the hiring
manager.

Have it arrive at least 20 minutes before noon so they
don’t leave for lunch.

Compliments
of David Perry and Kevin Donlin

If I think a 30-min phone interview didn’t go so great, is there something that can be done to fix it?

    Thx.

Hand write a thank you card and point-out why you’re interested in thee opportunity and how you’re previous experience fits their needs. Remember to mention specific examples that match – even – actually specifically that you did not have time to mention in the interview.
