Have you ever received a post card from – say Paris – or Las Vegas? If so you probably flipped it over straight
away to see who it was from. In their
book How to Get Clients Jeff Slutsky
and Marc Slutsky’s customer did the same thing. She hired her kids to address post cards which she then sent to her potential
customers. You can do the same thing by
writing this line on the back, “Don’t gamble on your next hire. Call me, and let’s talk about how I can help
you build your business.†Can’t get
there? You can order them on line at http://www.cafepress.com/arrivelasvegas/290508 for about $1 each
You can use any casino’s postcards.
A picture of dice has a similar affect.
The effect is not the same with the e-cards so use
real ones.

Only 1% of resumes that pass through a hiring managers hands grab their attention. The 15-30 seconds scanning time mentioned by some is bunk! You need to approach the way you write a resume to be in that 1%. Your resume needs to do only two things:
- - 1st grab the reader’s attention in milliseconds, and
- - 2nd give them sufficient rich content to make them call you.
Fail to achieve those 2 fatal requirements and your resume will be recycled.
